Recap: Workplace Ninja NL Meetup #3 – Hosted by Simac in Veldhoven

by | May 21, 2026 | Meetup

On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the Workplace Ninja User Group Netherlands gathered for its third in-person event of the year. Simac opened the doors of their Veldhoven campus to welcome the community for a full evening of expert sessions, networking, and great conversations.

A Warm Welcome at Simac

Doors opened at 15:30, giving attendees the chance to settle in and connect before the sessions kicked off. Simac proved to be a fantastic host, providing not just the venue but also sponsoring the food and drinks — making the evening feel as much like a community get-together as a technical event.

Session 1: Scaling Intune Across Tenants with Microsoft Graph API: Automate the Chaos

Maxime Guillemin opened the evening with a deep dive into managing Microsoft Intune at scale across multiple tenants using the Microsoft Graph API. If you’ve ever dealt with the operational overhead of multi-tenant Intune management, this session was exactly what you needed. Maxime walked the audience through practical automation patterns to cut through the complexity and bring order to the chaos.

Session 2: Our Journey Toward Automated Application Packaging in a Microsoft Intune Cloud-Native Workplace

Maurice Meijers, Arno Bottema, and Frans Oudendorp took the stage together for a session that resonated with many in the room. They shared the real-world story of evolving toward a fully automated application packaging pipeline in a cloud-native Intune environment — covering the tooling, the challenges, and the lessons learned along the way.

Food, Drinks & Networking

The break between the second and third sessions was exactly what the community needed. Sponsored by Simac, the networking hour gave everyone the chance to follow up on session topics, exchange ideas, and build new connections over a well-deserved meal.

Session 3: The Attack That Crossed the Border: From Endpoint Breach to Cloud Compromise

Pouyan Khabazi and Gianni Castaldi closed the evening with one of the most compelling sessions of the night. They walked through a realistic attack scenario where an initial endpoint breach escalated into a full cloud compromise — a stark reminder of why endpoint and cloud security must be treated as one connected story, not two separate domains.

Thank You

A big thank you to everyone who attended, presented, and made the evening possible. Special thanks to **Simac** for hosting and to our gold sponsors **AvePoint**, **ControlUp**, **Inforcer**, and **Recast** for their continued support of the Dutch workplace and security community.

Stay tuned for Meetup #4. See you there. 🥷
